Hello! I'm Chloe, the face behind The Secret Book Review. I'm a bookworm who can usually be found with my nose buried in a book and a coffee in my hand. My blog is a labour of love dedicated to sharing my passion for books.

My blog is a hub for reviews, recommendations, and discussions on all things book-related. I read a variety of genres but one of my book passions is about health, well-being, and self-care.

​

As an NHS neonatal intensive care nurse, I found myself needing some kind of way to de-stress and escape from the intensive care world and the pressures of the NHS. I started my book blogging back in 2020. After seeing the effects of the pandemic on my colleagues, I took an interest in learning about well-being mental health and self-care. I then went on to train as a well-being champion and Professional Nurse Advocate. 

 

I discuss a range of book topics throughout the blog, this includes new and upcoming books but also what I am currently reading, as well as some of my favourite reads and those all-time classics.

When I'm not reading, I enjoy travelling, visiting new places, experiencing different cultures, but most importantly, spending time with our Sprocker Spaniel – Ned (which you'll occasionally see sneak into my posts).
