Book Mail Round-Up 💌

This week's round-up of beautiful book mail!

I'm excited to begin sharing a roundup of the book mail I've received recently. I can't wait to delve into these books and share my thoughts through reviews!

The books in this week's round-up are:

The Radleys by Matt Haig:

The Radleys appear to be an ordinary middle-class family—Peter is a GP, Helen stays at home painting, and their children, Rowan and Clara, attend the local school. But they’re hiding a dark secret: they’re vampires, although they’ve chosen to live as non-practising ones.

Their peaceful lives take a turn when Clara is attacked at a party and, in the chaos, discovers her family's true nature. With a body to dispose of and the attention of a secret police unit dedicated to hunting rogue vampires, the Radleys are plunged into crisis.

In desperation, Peter calls his estranged brother, Will, a practising vampire with dangerous powers. But bringing Will into their lives unleashes buried secrets that threaten to destroy the family from within.

Thank you so much to the author - Matt Haig (who I am the biggest fan of), and the team at Canongate Books for sending me a copy!

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie:

Ten strangers are invited to a lavish mansion on a remote island off the Devon coast. Isolated from the mainland and with their enigmatic hosts nowhere to be found, each guest is accused of a serious crime from their past. Tension mounts as, one by one, they begin to die under suspicious circumstances, forcing the remaining guests to confront the chilling possibility that a murderer is hiding among them.

The group is a diverse mix of individuals: a reckless playboy, a troubled doctor, a formidable judge, an unrefined detective, a merciless mercenary, a devout spinster, two uneasy housekeepers, a decorated general, and a nervous secretary. As their numbers dwindle, they must race against time to outwit their unseen stalker. With no escape from the island, survival becomes the ultimate challenge, and trust is a luxury none can afford.

Adding to the tension is an eerie nursery rhyme hanging in every room, ominously predicting the grim fate of the ten guests.

In this special edition of Agatha Christie's classic novel, the story unfolds exactly as she intended, with the final solution concealed in a sealed letter, waiting to be opened only after the reader has unravelled the deadly mystery.

Thank you so much to the whole team at Harper Collins UK for sending me such a beautiful copy of the book!
