It’s About Bloody Time. Period🩸🩸

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a remarkable book that not only tackles a subject often overlooked but does so with humour, intelligence, and a genuine commitment to empowering women. Author, Emma Barnett, dives deep into the complex world of menstruation, weaving together personal anecdotes, scientific research, and societal observations to create a compelling narrative that leaves a lasting impression.

"I'm pretty passionate about anything Period/Menstruation related, and it may become tiring to some of you, or even grating in some cases, but while I still have breath in me, I'll carry on my passion and the ranting, hopefully, until this bullshit changes.".

Periods do lay serious claim to the label taboo. But why, in the twenty-first century, are they still seen as disgusting and something a woman should endure peacefully, without fuss? Periods still have a whiff of Victorian England about them; a stiff upper lip is expected when it comes to what's going on down below.

It's About Bloody Time, Period is more than just a book; it's a movement. It challenges the status quo, encourages open dialogue, and ultimately strives to improve women's health and well-being. It's a book that every woman should read, regardless of their age or background. It's a book that not only educates but also inspires and empowers.

I’ve loved this book and it’ll be one that I keep on my bookshelf!
